Nonprofit Strategist
Boards, staff, and donors of nonprofit organizations in Virginia, Illinois, Washington, D.C., Texas, and New York have relied on me to help them thrive. As coach, consultant, trainer, or facilitator,
I help organizations build capacity by working with them on relationships, strategy, fundraising, and governance - and am consistently recommended as an effective, respected, results-oriented professional.
I have worked on staff in both nonprofit and for-profit corporations and consulted with both. My staff work in development has been in leadership positions in Pennsylvania, Chicago, and Syracuse. My volunteerism has spanned more than 30 years across six states and continues today on the Board of Friends of the Central Library (FOCL), and Loretto Management Corporation. I am an AFP Master Trainer, a Lifecycles Capacity Consultant, and a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE).
My presentations, workshops, and training include the Nonprofit Education & Training (NET) series offered by the Shineman Foundation, the Marsellus Executive Development Program as well as the Nonprofit Education Workshop Series (N.E.W.S.) at the Central New York Community Foundation, various chapters of AFP including both Central New York and Finger Lakes, and at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. I have also served on the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) International Board and the Chicago chapter Board - and committees of each.
